Daniel Negreanu VS Michael Minkoff the sage continues
Gossip, Poker March 28th, 2012 Daniel Negreanu has renamed Michael Minkoff aka ProfessionalPoker as the banhammer. He mocks Michael Minkoff continuously in his weekly vlog. Michael Minkoff has unjustly been banning people on Two Plus Two and this has led to a severe backlash. Most likely the owners of Two PlusTwo are attempting to drive more traffic to the site by becoming more involved in thread other than Strategy. This is like an ugly madam trying to boost business in a whore house by taking on new customers by insulting them and kicking them out the door. (I just thought Id add to all the Malmuth analogies coming up.). Fret no more Mason and Minkoff, Full Tilt Poker might be back this week or next and the site will be booming again! Think of better things you can do for your forum than alienating your users. 888 will probably come and swallow you up very soon!

Team Titan and Sorel Mizzi on a Roll
Submitted on Fri, 2010-05-21 05:25 Sorel Mizzi, who made his name as a monster online poker player and signed with Team Titan at Titan Poker one month ago, has been burning up the poker tables in Europe. Mizzi finished in the money twice recently. European Poker Tour On the European Poker Tour (EPT), Mizzi captured sixth ($190,000) at the Grand Final High Roller event. As we noted in a recent article, the European Poker Tour is considered to be the richest poker tour around, with over a dozen events across the continent and one tourney in the Bahamas. Back in April, Mizzi was signed as the guru of Team Titan. Titan Poker has made it a priority to find new players online and mentor them into champs. When they signed Mizzi last month, he was already considered to be a top player and became the designated captain of the team. World Poker Tour His latest finish in the money was last week at the World Poker Tour Rendez-Vous a Paris. He finished second winning $159,000 in a 25-player, $20,000 buy in. Freddy Deeb took the main prize in the event. Thus far this year Mizzi has won $1,266,960. Watch out if you’re sitting across the green felt from him. Team Titan at Titan Poker has found a winner.

Strategy with Kristy: Quinn Sivage Discusses Min-Raising Button
February 16 2012, Kristy Arnett Related Articles Strategy with Kristy: John Kim Part Two Strategy with Kristy: John Kim Part One Strategy with Kristy: Jared Tendler on the Mental Game of Poker Pt 1 Share It Tags PokerNews Strategy, PokerNews Podcast, Poker Strategy, Online Poker Print Quinn Sivage is a professional poker player who specializes in using stats to crush mid-stakes online poker cash games. Last week on the Strategy with Kristy podcast, Sivage discussed using statistics for optimal preflop strategy in six-max no-limit hold’em games. This week, he answers listener questions and also talks about why it is so profitable, in online cash games, to raise the minimum when it folds to you on the button. Here is a snippet from the interview: The fact is that the button is such a ridiculously good position. You dont need to make it any bigger than a min-raise. Heres the really cool thing. If you min-raise, it makes their [a player from the small or big blind] three-bet a little bit worse because now there is just less in the pot. There is only 1.5 big blinds to win from the pot and your two big blinds. Its only 3.5 big blinds that they are trying to win by three-betting out of position. So, it makes your raise a stronger play, it makes their counter-move weaker, and it makes your counter-counter move, the four-bet, stronger, as well. Because you kept the pot small, you can make your four-bet ridiculously small like 17 or 18 big blinds to win almost that much. That makes their next move, the five-bet shove, even more unattractive because there are only 30 to 35 big blinds in the pot, and having to risk 100 big blinds. Min-raising the button makes all of your counter actions stronger, and it makes your opponents ways to defend it, weaker. The button is just a really tough position to mess up. If you want to make it bigger, sure if there is a recreational player in the blinds and you just want to build a nice big pot. But, in general I think the min-raise is better. Then, you can start to play more buttons. There are guys who will min-raise every button if it’s folded to them. I’m not going to advocate whether or not you should be stealing 100 percent there. You just have to know what the consequences are of whatever your button-steal percentage is. Sure, it can be 100 percent, you just have to realize that, and you might have to make some adjustments. Podcast Powered By Podbean Tune in every week for new episodes of Strategy with Kristy.

Black Friday Saves One Players Money & Relationship
published on 04/23/11 at 8:54 am One person who will be saving money after Black Friday, is Steve Street3 Carse. Known to have wasted thousands of dollars on online poker sites, the recent federal take over of Full Tilt Poker will have a positive effect on Mr. Carses financial statements. Angel Valdez, of the Online Poker Team, fires some questions at Oklahomas number one degenerate. How much money have you saved since Online poker got shut down?I transferred my last $80 on FTP to Angel to bet on black at the casino. He informed me that I lost. So, I would have naturally deposited another $50 and in turn, ran that up to around $55, then lost it all. Then I would have reloaded again. I would guess since Friday, I have saved around $450. But, since I dont have online poker anymore, i am extremely bored and have since spent over $1500 on various illegal endeavors. Those intruders in their homes have names? Some call them Kids, and others call them Mom/Dad/HoneyHonestly I am scared to death about what this question means and wonder how much meth the interviewer has inhaled to come up with such a psycho question. I live with my girlfriend Kelly and I have not seen any intruders in my home. When they stepped outside did the sun melt off their skin? Did they get the vampire effect?Again, another scary question that makes about as much sense as a gaggle of coked up geese selling cookies to gimps. Is their ability to make money playing online poker myopia equal to lets say Charlie Sheen thinking hes normal?I dont know what myopia means and Im too fucking lazy to google it. Charlie Sheen has Goddesses, cocaine, no teeth and millions of dollars. I have Kelly, teeth and tens of dollars. You tell me. Why is chicke nmeth so addictive, especially among online poker players?A bit of history, Chicken meth was introduced in Arkansas by Jeremy Allen. Its a combination of meth, chicken shit and feathers. It gives one the ability to 5bet shove 73o into AA and see a 773 flop. Or at least thats what chicken meth benders will trick your mind into seeing. On the evolutionary poker scale, where would you place IBGPN?I would place him at the bottom of the scale. Somewhere between a single celled organism and tadpole. While he can swim with the sharks, hes often overlooked as his bank roll rarely goes above the $1 mark. His most frequent sightings have the word (OBSERVER) after his name. I just had a cup of tea and a grilled cheese sandwich. Comments? You must be gay or British.
